Laura Diamanti

Laura Diamanti is a museologist and cultural heritage communication specialist. Her work focuses on museum studies, exhibition communication, and the public engagement with cultural heritage, with particular expertise in digital strategies applied to museum contexts.

Within the JERUS-IT-ARTS project (PNRR INTAFAM_00044), she was engaged as Expert in Museological and Bibliographic Research and Scientific Editorial Secretariat for Work Package 2, contributing to the volume Museology and Museography of Musical Instruments (Biblion Edizioni, 2026), edited by Andrea Zanella. Her role encompassed systematic research on national and international museum experiences related to the preservation and promotion of musical heritage; the authorship of 23 monographic profiles within the section "Musical Instrument Museums Across the World. Profiles"; co-authorship with Prof. Massimo Negri of the essay "Contemporary Museological Approaches to Music Collections" (pp. 87–96) and of the "Annotated Index of Musical Instrument Museums and Music Museums" (pp. 255–274); coordination of contributions from three international scholars (Shaw Hong Ser, Ahmed Emad, Eric Brennan); and iconographic and bibliographic research for the publication.
