This creation, born within the Resid'AND project of the National Academy of Dance, thanks to the openness and extraordinary collaboration of its Artistic Committee, embraced the objectives
of the Jerus-It-Arts project.
Staticity in Movement is the fruit of the encounter between artists from diverse traditions and cultures. It explores the fusion of dance, visual arts, multimedia, and music. As bodies interact with video projections and sound, spanning different eras and styles, from classical to contemporary, a traditional Palestinian instrument, the oud, merges with Western electronic music, resulting in a multidisciplinary production that sees artistic language as the quintessential forum for dialogue.

Choreography, concept, dramaturgy: Sara De Santis
