Founded in 1933, the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance is Israel’s oldest and largest higher-arts institute, dedicated to identifying talent, nurturing it and guiding students toward professional careers. Its internationally active faculty teach a dynamic curriculum that combines academic study with extensive performance practice. Under one roof students can pursue Middle-Eastern, European classical, Baroque, jazz and Arabic music, alongside classical and modern dance, improvisation and a pioneering programme in Movement Notation.
