Between Musical Worlds
The UNIMORE JERUS-IT-ARTS Final Concert – Between Italy and Jerusalem: A Dialogue between Cultures, Traditions and Inner Worlds United through Music is featured Palestinian tenor Jamil Freij and pianist Ramzi Shomali, both deeply connected to Italian and Palestinian musical traditions. The concert embodies the project's mission of fostering intercultural dialogue through artistic expression. The programme traces an emotional journey through Italian and Arab repertoires, bringing together poetry, spirituality, memory, and hope in a shared musical experience. Through works by Bellini, Donizetti, Fauré, Tosti, Salvator Arnita, and settings inspired by Kahlil Gibran, the performance highlights the cultural connections linking Jerusalem and Italy.
