📅 Friday, 31 October 2025

The concert offers the chance to discover one of the most ambitious theatrical experiments of the eighteenth century: Christian Tragedies by Annibale Marchese (1686–1753), in which music, poetry, drama and visual culture are tightly interwoven.
This initiative is part of “The Sound under the Microscope,” a series of talks and performance events held between October and November 2025, curated by Fondazione Collegio San Carlo and Fondazione AGO Modena Fabbriche Culturali, with the support of Fondazione di Modena..

The 31 October event focuses on sound as rediscovery. Through research presentations and a live performance, it highlights major projects dedicated to the study and enhancement of musical archival heritage, carried out by Fondazione Collegio San Carlo, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Università Cattolica di Milano and Stile Galante (Alkmaar).
Admission to both the seminar and the concert is free, but reservation is required and subject to availability. See the link in bio to register.
🤝 Organised in collaboration with JERUS-IT-ARTS (Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia), Stile Galante (Alkmaar) and Passacaille.
