Lucia D’Anna

Lucia D’Anna is a cellist, researcher, and educator active between Italy, Jerusalem, and Palestine. Trained at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan, the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, and the Jerusalem Academy of Music, she combines her concert activity with a strong commitment to research, teaching, and cultural cooperation. She was a research fellow at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia until 31 March 2026, within the PNRR JERUS-IT-ARTS project, dedicated to the enhancement of the musical archive of the Custody of the Holy Land. She currently collaborates with the Brera Academy as liaison for local Palestinian institutions in a project devoted to the safeguarding of Palestinian intangible sound heritage. She lives and works in Jerusalem, where she teaches cello and chamber music at the Magnificat Institute, while collaborating with local and international musical and cultural institutions.
